Facebook has rolled out their latest update in terms of the Android app. This latest update brings the version up to 1.5.1 and according to the change log has added a few new features, though truth be told some of these were added in a previous update back in December. Needless to say there was at least one item that was new — Deals. Anyway, according to the change log, the latest update includes;
- Added Deals – get access to savings, free offers and special deals from nearby businesses.
- Added Chat – now you can chat with your facebook friends right from your Android device.
- Push notifications (only supported for devices on Android 2.2+)
- Various bug fixes
And as always, the Facebook for Android app can be downloaded from the Android Market.
