Windows Phone 7 Marketplace climbs to 9,000 apps

With continued growth, it looks like the Windows Phone Marketplace is now sporting 9,000 apps. All said and done, 9,000 may not be the biggest number going in terms of available apps, but given the relatively short life so far, it seems rather impressive. This puts them squarely ahead of webOS at this point, and shows rather nice growth from when they were touting 1,000 back in late October, 2,000 in November and 4,000 in mid-December. Heck, at this rate the Windows Phone Marketplace is going to be over 10,000 within another few weeks.
