BlackBerry PlayBook rumors suggest April 10th release

Today is a big day for tablets as Apple officially announced the iPad 2 and BGR is hearing from “multiple sources” that the innovative BlackBerry PlayBook will launch on April 10. Considering the second iteration of the iPad is launching nearly a full month before RIM can push the PlayBook out the door does not bode well for Canadian based company.

While this information hasn’t been officially confirmed by RIM, it does seem pretty legitimate as BGR was confident enough to run the rumor. However, since the iPad 2 will be ready for shipment in a little over a week, RIM may decide to bump up to launch date of the PlayBook.
