The first Windows Phone 7 to launch on Sprint, the HTC Arrive, is now officially available for purchase through Sprint and Amazon. Sprint is currently selling the HTC Arrive for $199 on a two year contract after a $100 mail-in-rebate, but you can purchase the high-end WP7 device through Amazon Wireless for the inexpensive price of $50 on a two year agreement.
Unless you have some irrational fear of purchasing cell phones through third party retailers, there really is no advantage in purchasing the HTC Arrive from Sprint, especially when Amazon Wireless is undercutting the carrier by a whopping $150.
