After a successful US launch a few weeks ago Apple will be rolling out the iPad 2 to a few more countries this coming Friday. Those countries will have to follow all the same rules we did, even though they had to wait a while to get theirs.
On Friday, March 25 Apple will launch the iPad 2 in 25 countries. Those countries include Canada, Mexico, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, France, Austria, Ireland, and a number of other European countries. For each country the iPad 2 has the same suggested pricing in US dollars, so it should cost about the same. The same rules apply where buyers will have to wait until 5 p.m. local time to buy the iPad 2 in stores. Or, you can buy the tablet online at 1 a.m.
Those in Asia will have to wait a bit longer for the iPad 2 as Apple has announced that Hong Kong, Singapore and Korea among others will see the iPad 2 sometime in April.
