Saddleback leather iPad 2 case coming this April

Gadgetell reviewed Saddleback’s Leather iPad Sleeve last year and was quite pleased with its quality, the 100 year warranty and most importantly, its leathery smell. Saddleback is coming back with a case for the iPad 2 in early April. It will come in the following colors – chestnut, carbon black, dark coffee or tobacco.

The Saddleback iPad 2 case is made from the same full-grain boot leather the iPad sleeve is made from. In addition to providing shock protection if the iPad 2 falls to the ground, the case can also be used as a horizontal stand.

A price for the case hasn’t been made official, but Saddleback cases for the iPad are priced at $104.
