Coming as a bit of news that is sure to make any good Android fanboy(girl) smile, one analyst has put forth a report showing that the HTC Thunderbolt is outselling the iPhone 4 at Verizon Wireless. The report comes by way of Walter Piecyk from BTIG Research and he has stated that the Thunderbolt was outselling the iPhone 4 at 28 percent of the stores that he polled. And as to the total number of stores, they polled 150 from 22 major US cities. In terms of the other data, you know, the parts that will not make the Android fanboys smile as much — the iPhone 4 was outselling the Thunderbolt at 11 percent and perhaps more important — the devices were selling at the same rate at 61 percent of the locations. Bottom line, they are both solid phones and with that I will leave you with this — why can’t we mobile geeks just all get along?
