LG has done pretty good things with the Optimus One smartphone, they have released it with just about every carrier under slightly different branding and with a slightly different exterior design. There is the Optimus T for T-Mobile, the Optimus V for Virgin Mobile — you get the drill. But now it looks like we are getting closer to the promised release of the Optimus A, which as you have likely guessed is going to arrive with AT&T. Of course, at this time we should point out that we are still waiting word from AT&T in terms of the price and release date, but we do at least have the image of the handset. And coincidentally, of all the other Optimus One branded handsets, the Optimus A seems to look most similar to the Optimus M (for MetroPCS). That said, regardless of the letter after Optimus, they all feature a 3.5 inch display, 800MHz processor, 3.2 megapixel camera, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.5 mm headphone jack, microSD card slot and arrive running Android 2.2.
