Earlier this week, it was reported that Samsung is planning to release a smartphone with a dual-core CPU in 2012. This unnamed device is believed to be capable of processing speeds up to 4Ghz, putting it on par with some modern computers. If that was enough to blow your mind, you may want to hold on to your head for this next rumor. Motorola is rumored to be working on two super smartphones as well.
According to Droid Life, these phones allegedly have a NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor. Their code names are the Motorola Bullet and the Motorola Jet. Keep in mind this is merely speculation, but at the rate smartphone technology is improving, it’s certainly not far fetched.
Let’s go into more detail about the two phones. The Motorola Jet has a physical keyboard, a 4-inch q-HD screen, 16GB of built-in storage, 1.5GB of DDR2 RAM and a whopping 12 megapixel camera.
The Motorola Bullet has mostly the same specs, except it has a 4.3-inch screen, 1GB of DD2 RAM and a NFC chip.
Given current Motorola trends, it wouldn’t be unreasonable to assume these phones will run on some version of Android. Hopefully Android 3.0 will be optimized for phones by them.
