For our dear readers who are based in Australia right now, you’re in luck. That is if you’ve been eyeing the Samsung Galaxy Tab since it is being sold in two outlets right now – JB Hi-Fi and Telstra for a really dirt cheap price of AUD$299. Regular price of the Galaxy Tab is AUD$500. Unfortunately, both deals run on a limited only, that being between now and until May 3. Now here’s something even sweeter, we’re not talking here of the Wi-FI only Galaxy Tab but the 3G version which is available unlocked. So, if you’re vacationing in Australia right now and you feel like grabbing one tab, please make it two and grab one for me, will you?
In case you already forgot, the Samsung Galaxy Tab is a 7-inch Android 2.2 tablet device with 1 GHz single-core Hummingbird CPU, 16GB of internal storage, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and internal SIM slot. Officially, it will not be updated to Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but there’s always a walk-around to enable this.
