Amazon Wireless now offering $25 Appstore credit with Verizon Android smartphone purchase

Amazon originally launched their Android Appstore back in late-March and as of today it looks like they have begun to show a nice tie in with their Amazon Wireless business. A recently launched promotion will give a $25 Appstore credit to those who purchase a Verizon Wireless Android smartphone from Amazon Wireless. The offer is currently in effect and set to run through 11:59 PM PST on May 1st. Of course, the inclusion of $25 worth of apps from the Amazon Appstore is only part of the perk of shopping with Amazon Wireless — remember, you will also be (in most cases) paying less for your phone than if you shopped direct with Verizon.
