Google Maps If you take a quick stroll over to Google Maps in the Android Market, you’ll see that the application has been updated to version 5.4.0. This update doesn’t add anything massive to the already robust catalog of features Google Maps offers, but it does further capitalize on phone and web synchronization.

The update will take the searches you perform in the Google Maps application and share them with your Google web history on a computer. This is useful for when you want to remember a location you searched for on the go without having to whip out the phone again. You may have to enable this feature online before you can see that history. Clicking on the link will give you the same Google Maps information that you received on the phone.

Another new feature is the ability to assist in the Google Navigation feature. If you discover that a location is not where Navigation said it would be, you can report that with a “destination not here” option.

Finally, the new update presents each map search with more business details.
