Sony Ericsson is giving our friends in Japan a new toy to play with. And this goes out by the monicker – Xperia Acro. This new addition to the Sony Ericsson Xperia series combine best-in-class imaging and display technology plus other features which our Japanese friends may already be familiar with including – data exchange, mobile wallet, and mobile TV functionality. Designed specifically to answer the mobile phone needs of Japanese users, the Xperia Acro boasts of 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, extra wide 4.2-inch screen, 8.1MP camera with Exmor R, 720p HD video capability, and HDMI connector. Design-wise, the Xperia Acro features the human curvature design and form factor which is almost similar to the Xperia Arc. The Sony Ericsson Xperia Acro will be available in black and white starting this summer in Japan.
