Motorola is about to make their XOOM tablet even more exciting with new, great features – thanks to the scheduled Android 3.1 update which will happen this week. Announced during the Google I/O event, Android 3.1 Honeycomb OS will bring in several feature enhancements to Motorola Xoom including – movie rentals, use of Bluetooth headsets during video chats, and the ability to resize widgets that are displayed on the XOOM’s home screen.In case you’re interested to know, the XOOM happens to be the first Android tablet to get a taste of the new Android 3.1 OS. And the Motorola folks are probably grinning ear-to-ear from now as this would give their Android tablet an edge over its rivals. Other features that the Android 3.1 will be bringing to the Motorola XOOM include – full support for the final release of Adobe Flash Player 10.2, support for USB-connected peripherals and accessories including keyboards, mice, game controllers and digital cameras, picture transfer protocol. Other variants of the Motorola are also scheduled to get the same Android 3.1 updates soon.
