It looks like the 8.9 inch Samsung Galaxy Tab is moving along as expected. Well, as expected to make the June 8th launch date anyway. The most recent Galaxy Tab 8.9 related news deals with the image you see above, which comes courtesy of the FCC. Yup, the FCC has given its seal of approval to Samsung and that means the Galaxy Tab 8.9 is one step closer to a release. Or at least it has one less hurdle to pass before being released. Otherwise, according to the FCC filing, we can tell you that the tablet features an 8.9 inch display, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and Bluetooth. Also noted in the filing were the front and rear cameras as well as two speakers. Of course, we had already heard the specs when Samsung made the official announcement and those included a 1280 x 800 resolution, dual-core processor, 16GB or 32GB of internal storage and Android 3.0 Honeycomb. Or possibly Android 3.1 Honeycomb.
