Official Wall Street Journal app now available in the Android Market

It looks like Android users now have an official Wall Street Journal app available. The app, which is called The Wall Street Journal Mobile is available for devices running Android 2.0 or later and requires 2.5M for installation. The current version is 1.0.2 and it comes as a free download. In terms of features, the app is described as offering “on-the-go access from The Wall Street Journal with global news coverage, in-depth analysis and real-time quotes. The Wall Street Journal Application for Android Smartphone provides you with access to award-winning news and information anytime, anywhere from WSJ.” That being said, the app will allow you to read articles from the most recent edition and also get updated news during the day. Other features include the ability to save articles for later reading as well as sharing by way of Facebook, Twitter and email.
