Better late than never they always say. Today, Sony Ericsson announced that the Xperia X10 on AT&T in the United States will begin to receive the OTA Software Update for Android 2.1 starting today. Most OTA Software Updates take at least a week for all the owners to receive the update, so don’t stress out if you do not receive the Android 2.1 update today. I’m sure many Xperia X10 owners wished their device had launched originally with at least Android 2.1, but hey, what can you do? No word if Froyo or Gingerbread is in the Xperia X10′s future, but that would certainly be a nice treat down the road.
