Sprint iPhone reportedly in “advance testing” phase

Coming as a nice follow up to the reports of an iPhone 4S (with support for the Sprint network) we are now seeing some chatter in regards to how the handset has reportedly gone into an “advanced testing” phase. And taking that a step further, this also lines up nicely with some other reports that mentioned Apple was going to be installing Sprint cell towers on their campus. Bottom line, while this all seems far from official at this point, things do appear to be shaping up nicely for a Sprint compatible iPhone. That said, the cell towers are reportedly for “late 2010″ which means any testing phase would then take some time after and based on that — we should not expect a Sprint iPhone anytime sooner than early 2011.
