Sony gave its PlayStation Network customers a 30 days free access to Music Unlimited as a peace offering following the PSN data hack. Music Unlimited is a streaming music service that can be accessed by a number of Sony devices with online access. Today, Music Unlimited is available to download in the Android Market.

The Music Unlimited app can be used on a number of Android devices including smartphones that were not manufactured by Sony. When you download the app, you can get 30 days of Music Unlimited premium service for free if you haven’t already been a subscriber. You’ll have to do to the Qriocity website on a PC to redeem this offer.

Sony also has a free 180-day trial for customers who meet certain requirements. They are listed below.

  • You are 18 or over
  • You own a Playstation 3 system
  • You do not currently hold or have not previously held a Music Unlimited subscription to the premium or basic plan
  • You are in a supported country/region (US)
  • Note: you will not be able to take advantage of the 180-day Subscription Free Trial on PS3 if you purchase other subscriptions.
