Verizon 4G LTE coverage will soon include 19 additional markets and 2 new cities

Verizon seems to be staying right on track with their 4G LTE network roll-out and coming tomorrow (June 16, 2011) will be 19 additional markets and 2 new cities. According to the details provided by Verizon, those two new cities will include San Francisco and Detroit and the 19 additional markets will include;

• Sacramento, California
• Hartford, Connecticut
• Boise, Idaho
• Fort Wayne, Indiana
• Indianapolis, Indiana
• Flint, Michigan
• Grand Rapids, Michigan
• Lansing, Michigan
• Dayton, Ohio
• Erie, Pennsylvania
• Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
• State College, Pennsylvania
• Greenville-Spartanburg, South Carolina
• Sioux Falls, South Dakota
• Salt Lake City-Ogden, Utah
• Spokane, Washington
• Madison, Wisconsin
• Milwaukee, Wisconsin

For those looking for some totals, once these are live that will bring the total of covered metropolitan areas covered up to 74. And lastly, while this is still some time away, Verizon expects to have this completed by the end of 2013.
