Google Voice for Android gets an update, should help to improve battery life

Google has rolled out another update for their Google Voice app on Android. This latest brings the version number up to and it remains available for those using Android 1.6 or later. That being said, this latest update only brings a few features, however one of those should be welcomed by almost every Google Voice user — improved battery usage. And as for the second, the display will now remain on while playing voicemail messages. With that, Google Voice users can hit up the Android Market on their device to download this latest version.
