Aside from the powerful N9 smartphone, Nokia has also launched three new phones during the Nokia Connection event in Singapore. These new phones are the Nokia C2-02, Nokia C2-03 and Nokia C2-06. Common denominator among these three phones is the fact that they will ship with the latest Symbian OS, called Symbian Anna. All three phones are said to offer a web, maps and messaging experience through either a touch screen interface or a keypad.
Looking closer at these three phones, you’ll get a dual sim device with the Nokia C2-03 which also features an Easy Swap option which lets you change SIM cards instantly without the need to turn off the phone or even remove its battery. The Nokia C2-02 on the other hand is the single SIM version of the C2-03 boasting of push messaging option as well as several IM clients. Finally, there’s the Nokia C2-06 which is will be available in various colors. Additionally, all three phones will ship with the Nokia Maps for Series 40. This means that each of these phones will be preloaded with local maps and places of interest allowing you to view maps and plan routes even when the phone is offline.
The Nokia C2-02, C2-03 will be available for $105 while the Nokia C2-06 will be up for grabs for $112 starting third quarter of 2011.
