CEA Lineshows: Monster Miles Davis Trumpet headphones are finally available [update]

Back at CES in January Monster unveiled it’s newest Miles Davis-inspired headphones, the Miles Davis Trumpet. Now, a few months later the headphones are finalyl available to the public. Not to be confused with the Miles Davis Tribute, the Trumpets were also made with input from the Davis family, but are $130 less expensive.

The headphones will come with a special “High Definition Surround Sound” remaster version of Miles Davis’ album “Skectches of Spain.” The earbuds are tuned to sound great with the trumpet sounds of Miles Davis, though Monster claims they will sound great with any sort of music. If the included album and tuning weren’t enough, the Trumpet earphones are styled to around Davis is almsot every way imaginable. The buds themselves look like trumpet horns with Davis’ signature on the side, there’s a small metal piece on the cord with his silhouette , and even the ControlTalk buttons and mic are modelled after a trumpet.

The Miles Davis Trumpet headphones are available this August for $329. That includes the headphones, CD, and a collection of 15 SuperTips to ensure the best possible seal in your ear. Expect to see a full review of the headphones in the near future.

Update: the Miles Davis Trumpet headphones won’t be available until August. Previously it was mentioned that they were available right now.
