The Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo was scheduled to have launched sometime in the end of March, but the unfortunate earthquake in Japan slowed production to a grinding halt. Hong Kong and some other markets were able to launch the Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo on time, but for the most part, the Neo has been delayed until July. As of now, there are several reports coming from Sony Ericsson Netherlands, Sony Ericsson Italy, and UK outlets who are claiming that the Xperia Neo could launch as soon as next week. Several features of the Xperia Neo include an 8.1MP rear facing camera, a VGA front facing camera, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 3.7 inch touch screen display, and it runs Android 2.3.
It will be interesting to see the price of the Neo, because if it launched in March, it could have been priced fairly high with its specs. However, the Neo is launching in July when it should have launched in March, therefore, I’m sure Sony Ericsson is going to discount the price a little bit to hopefully generate sales.
