Acer AC700 Chromebook

Excited about the Acer Chromebook which was supposed to be released by the end of June? Sorry for being the one to break the news, folks. You may have to wait a few more weeks before you finally get your hands on the Acer AC700 Chromebook. Shipment of the Chromebooks have been delayed and the new release date is now pushed back to mid-July for the Wi-Fi only model, and mid-August for the 3G model. Prices of the Acer AC700 Chromebooks Wi-Fi and 3G models are still the same at $349 and $429 respectively. The said release dates were sort of confirmed by the Amazon product page for the Acer Chromebook. We don’t know for sure if other outlets where the Acer Chromebooks will be sold will also push back its release date. In case you’re not aware, the Acer AC700 Chromebook boasts of a 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N570 dual-core processor, 11.6-inch display and HDMI output.
