Based on a Google User’s comment in the Android Open Source Project forums several days ago, many believed that the Xoom would soon receive the Android 3.2 Honeycomb update. Today, it looks like that user was correct, as many owners of WiFi Xooms are reporting that Android Build HTJ85B (the 3.2 update) started appearing on their device.
If you own a WiFi Xoom and have already installed the latest Android 3.2 update, then you will likely notice support for your SD card as well as the ability to zoom in on apps that otherwise don’t render perfectly for your large screen. Don’t worry if your Xoom is still just running Android 3.1, as these types of software roll outs typically take a decent amount of time.
