Hey look, Sprint has dropped the price on the Nexus S 4G smartphone. Or maybe a bit more accurately, they have cut the purchase price in half since it was originally released. And while we think that is a fairly solid deal, we also cannot but remember that some third party wireless retailers such as Wirefly were already selling the handset for $99.99 way back in May. Needless to say, if you are in the market for a new phone with Sprint and were thinking about going with Android and somehow scared to purchase with someone other than direct with the carrier — here is your opportunity. That said, the Nexus S 4G comes with goodies to include a 4 inch Super AMOLED display, 1GHz Hummingbird processor, 512MB RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a VGA quality front facing camera and a 5 megapixel rear facing camera with flash and video recording. And lastly, the Nexus S 4G is running Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
