Samsung Galaxy S II 4G on Bell

Just a few days ago, Best Buy in Canada prematurely posted a product listing for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S II 4G from Bell and listed the release date as July 21st. Even though the leaked screenshot looking convincing and provided compelling evidence, we still needed official word from Bell before we could mark our calendars for the triumphant launch of the second generation Galaxy S on Bell.

Today, Bell updated its splash page for the iconic Samsung Galaxy S II 4G to announce the fact that it is going to, indeed, launch on July 21st. In terms of pricing, we’re hearing that it will cost $169 on a three year contract and $599 off contract. In terms of specs, the Samsung Galaxy S II 4G features a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED Plus display, 8MP rear facing camera, 1080p video capture, 2MP front facing camera, Android 2.3, and a dual-core 1.2GHz processor. Operating on Bell’s 4G network, the Galaxy S II 4G can reach 21Mbps speeds.
