Zinio just announced that its popular digital magazine and newspaper stand is now available for more Android devices, which include those Android devices running Android 2.2 Froyo and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Last month, Zinio also made its Android app available for Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablets which I may say so is a pretty good app as I’ve been using it on my Galaxy Tab 10.1. Now, to celebrate this announcement Zinio is offering 12 free current issues of popular magazine titles such as Bike Magazine , BlackBook , ESPN The Magazine , House Beautiful , Juxtapoz Art & Culture Magazine , Maxim , Outdoor Photographer , Redbook , Robb Report , Seattle Met , SURFER Magazine and Wine Enthusiast . This free access is valid for redemption until August 31, 2011 for new users of the Zinio Android app. Too bad, during the time that I got the app installed on my Galaxy Tab 10.1, the free issues were only 3.
For those who have not had the chance to try out Zinio, now is probably the best time to do so. If you’re not aware, Zinio covers more than hundred thousand issues of more than 1,000 major consumer magazines published worldwide. The Zinio store is available in 33 languages and accepts 20 different currencies. The app has several nice interactive features and rich media content such as audio, video and information graphics. In short, Zinio Android app makes reading your favorite newspapers or magazines more fun and interactive.
Zinio is available now as a free download from the Android Market. You can get the app by clicking on the product link included below.
