Effective September 14, 2011, Radio Shack will stop selling T-Mobile products and services and begin selling Verizon Wireless postpaid and prepaid products and services on September 15. Radio Shack has 4,300 retail stores nationwide and believes that by carrying the nation’s largest wireless carrier’s products, Radio Shack will be able to offer more products to their customers. T-Mobile customers may be disappointed that they will soon not be able to purchase products from Radio Shack, but on the other hand, I am sure Verizon Wireless customers are happy to see another option when it comes to purchasing smartphones, featurephones, or any other products. Again, you won’t see any changes involving T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless until mid-September.
