Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 software update

It may seem a little late but then I’m pretty sure most Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 users have long been waiting for their smartphones to don Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread OS. That long wait has come to an end now (or soon will) as Sony Ericsson has started rolling out the update and you can get it from the Sony Ericsson PC companion app. In addition to getting the nice features of Android 2.3.3, your smartphone will also get the new “Facebook Inside Xperia” integration, Wi-Fi and USB tethering, revamped music player and photo widget. The update will also let you customized your phone’s app drawer some more. If your Xperia X10 is already running Android 2.1, you can grab the software and download it directly to your phone or you can use the Sony Ericsson PC Companion suite.
