Ah, the ever important logo. And while we have seen a few companies change a product logo in mid-stream, it always seems surprising when it happens. Needless to say, this latest logo change is coming by way of Microsoft and looks like it is being rolled out in conjunction with the Mango software update. In other words, this new logo is something that you should be seeing moving forward. The new logo for Mango appears to have a simpler, slightly more minimalist look which was first (quietly) unveiled during the Fujitsu event for the IS12T which took place last week. The logo was shown off at the time, but never really mentioned specifically. And well, since then it looks like it is being used. For example, if you boot any Mango build 7710 or later you will see this logo. Plus, it was also used in the Nokia Sea Ray video. But that brings us to the questions, is this a new logo because of the new (Mango) release, or will be be seeing an updated logo every time a new major update rolls out? Either way, we have to say this updated look is much cleaner and therefor a bit nicer to look at.
