HP TouchPad gets a $50 price cut, until September 10th

HP recently began rolling out the webOS 3.0.2 update for the TouchPad tablet and well, it looks like they had also quietly began discounting the tablet. The discount pricing comes by way of the HP.com website. In short, the price of the TouchPad has gotten $50 cheaper which means you can purchase a 16GB TouchPad for $449 or a 32GB TouchPad for $549. The price is valid until September 10th, which means you still have some time to make up your mind. That said, we have to wonder — will a $50 drop in price be enough to convince you to make a purchase? If you ask us, a $100 price drop would have been much more significant, but honestly, we are still not sure we would have jumped to make a purchase.
