If you happen to be sporting a Sprint compatible HTC EVO Shift 4G you may want to be on the lookout for an upcoming software update. The update has yet to be officially announced by Sprint, however the details have come by way of an official looking leaked screen capture. In other words, while not officially announced, we believe this one to be coming. Anyway, the update is going to begin rolling out as of August 8th and will include just one minor fix. According to the notes, the update will bring the software version number up to 2.76.651.5 and include a fix for the “intermittent failure to send MMS” messages. Otherwise, the update should be completed rolling out by August 9th.
