Sharp is going to launch a new tablet in the Japanese market later this month and it is going to feature a 7 inch 1024 x 600 touch screen display, dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 1GHz processor, and run Android 3.2 out of the box. In addition, it features a 5MP rear facing camera and a 2MP front facing camera. No word on the exact internal memory or RAM, but it will likely be at least 16GB of storage space and 1GB of RAM. The Galapagos A01SH tablet features some great hardware specs, but nothing we haven’t already seen from other major players. While there is no word on pricing at this time, hopefully Sharp keeps the price tag down in order to target the budget-conscious consumer. Sharp has plans to launch the Android 3.2 tablet in the U.S. market sometime later this year.
