Telus announces 6GB data for $30 per month promotion

Telus has a new data plan available for its customers: 6GB of data for $30 a month. The most notable carrier in Canada who currently has a similar plan option is Rogers, and Telus aims to compete directly with Rogers in terms of data plan offerings. The new promotion from Telus does not come with an explicitly stated expiration date, but it is reportedly expected to end at the conclusion of Summer.

The plan is available for all devices and is eligible to be added onto any pre-existing voice plan. In terms of overages, there is a 5 cent overage per MB in Canada and a $3 overage per MB in the United States. Overall, this seems to be a good option for power users on Telus or looking to sign with Telus.
