Several days ago, Verizon Wireless published the changelog document for the HTJ85 update, which brings Android 3.2 functionality to the Xoom 3G on Verizon. While the soak for only a handful of Xoom owners began a day later, we weren’t sure when the mass roll-out to all owners would take place, but based on reports of users receiving the update, it looks like the roll-out has already begun as of yesterday.
If you own the Motorola Xoom with 3G data connectivity on Big Red, then you will likely soon be notified that your device has an update to install. The update brings about several important changes — which can be read about here — but most notably, it brings support and functionality to the SD card slot.
