We recently learned that the Nokia N9 was not going to come available in the US market and while that may have been a disappointment for some — there is a bit more to add to that. And lets just say, those still digging Symbian or those who were hoping to jump on (or try and create) a MeeGo bandwagon will not be all that happy. Bottom line here, Nokia has confirmed to All Things D that they are going to stop shipping Symbian and MeeGo devices to the US. Furthermore, moving forward, the only operating system that US capable Nokia devices will run is Windows Phone 7.
