Dell has just launched two new laptops which not only sport aluminum lids and palm rests but also boasts of being only an inch thick. Both laptops features Sandy Bridge Core i3 and Core i5 processors, USB 3.0, screen resolutions of up to 1366 x 768, built-in media card readers, Wi-Fi and Windows 7 OS. There are also some optional features which you can choose to have should you decide to get any of these two new Dell laptops. These include up to 8GB of RAM, a choice between 320GB or 500GB HDD or 128GB SSD for the Inspiron 13z and the same memory plus choice of 500GB, 640GB or 750GB HDD on the 14z. The Inspiron 14z also comes with an internal tray-load DVD combo. Additionally, both laptops have Dell Stage user interface which basically provides you with one-click access to your music, photos and video.
The Dell Inspiron 13z and Dell Inspiron 14z retail for $599.99 for the basic models. The 14z is available now in the US while the 13z will be launching in some Asian countries in the coming days.
