Google update Reader for Honeycomb tablets Google has rolled out the latest update in terms of the Google Reader app for Android. This latest update brings the version up to 1.0.1 and it remains available for Android devices running version 1.6 or later. But that being said, while almost every version of Android can run this app, this latest update will be of most benefit for those using an Android tablet. Yup, good news for those using a Honeycomb running tablet. According to the what’s new section in the Android Market listing, Google Reader has been given the following changes and fixes;

  • New look & feel
  • Optimized for tablets
  • The “Mark Previous as Read” button has moved into the context menu; press and hold on an item to use this feature.
