Google Maps weather

Google Maps on the web has been updated to include the current weather in a given location. Now, whenever you want to get a decent idea of what the forecast is and will be, Google Maps will be an alternative to other services. Accessing the weather layer on Google Maps can be done with a single click.

The weather layer can be enabled by visiting Google Maps, placing your mouse over the map option and clicking on weather. Depending on how close you’re zoomed in, you’ll see weather conditions from dozens of cities. At a glance, I can tell that the temperature where I am is the same as Cairo, Egypt. That’s pretty neat.

You can also choose to set the temperatures by Fahrenheit or Celsius, and change the measurements for wind speed and eliminate clouds from the satellite image if you choose.
