There’s a new mid-range Samsung QWERTY Slider phone in town and it is the Galaxy Q. Rogers recently launched the device and it is available for Canadian customers with a few different pricing options. On a three year contract, the Samsung Galaxy Q will cost $49.99 and it costs $249.99 off contract. Two year and one year options are also available, but the three year contract is the cheapest and most common, with off-contract being another viable and often pursued option.
In terms of specs, the Galaxy Q features Android 2.2, a 3.2 inch touch screen display, 3MP camera, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, and a four row QWERTY slider keyboard. Unfortunately, there’s no mention of whether it will be upgraded past Froyo to Gingerbread, but hopefully it will be.
