Canon has just announced three new digital cameras under its Powershot product line. These are the Canon Powershot SX 150, Canon Powershot ELPH 510 HS and Canon Powershot ELPH 310 HS. According to Canon, all three digital shooters promise to capture beautiful still images and great high-definition video.
In brief, here are what each of these new Canon cameras have to offer. First, we have the Canon Powershot SX 150 featuring a 12x optical zoom with 28mm wide-angle lens, 720p video recording, intelligent IS and Smart AUTO. It also comes in with a 14.1-megapixel CCD sensor and Canon’s DIGIC 4 Image processor. Best thing about this camera is its manual-shooting capabilities including aperture priority and shutter priority modes. It’s a great camera to give you a glimpse of what to expect in case you’re planning to jump into the DSLR mania after practicing with this camera. Next, we have the Canon Powershot ELPH 510 HS which features a 12.1-megapixel CMOS sensor and also a 12x optical zoom and 28mm wide-angle lens. This camera comes in red, black, and silver colors and also features a 3.2-inch wide, touch-panel LCD screen. Available by October, the ELPH 510 HS will set you back for $349.99.
Finally, we have the Canon Powershot ELPH 310 HS boasting a 12.1-megapixel CMOS sensor with 8x optical zoom and 28mm wide-angle lens. This digital camera is also capable of shooting 1080p HD video and features High-Speed Burst mode, Intelligent IS and improved Smart AUTO. It also comes with a 3-inch LCD screen and will be available in funky colors such as purple, blue, pink, green and silver. The Canon Powershot ELPH 310 HS will be released by October for $259.99.
