It looks like Verizon will be sitting out on the Samsung Galaxy S II announcements that are taking place on Monday. Verizon has confirmed that it will not have a Galaxy S II variant on its network. That leaves the upcoming iPhone 5 (or whatever it will be called) without its most likely competitor on Verizon’s network.
A representative for Verizon said in a statement, “We have a robust portfolio of devices that offer customers exciting options including the Droid Charge by Samsung which runs on Verizon Wireless’ 4G LTE network.”
Samsung is expected to have Galaxy S II devices for Sprint, T-Mobile and AT&T.
