On August 29th, Samsung is expected to announce its highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S II smartphone in the United States. Originally thought to launch on all four major US carriers, yesterday we learned that Verizon Wireless will not launch the Galaxy S II. Today, PocketNow received a press image of the Galaxy S II headed for T-Mobile, Sprint, and AT&T. Each
smartphone looks very similar, except for different branding based on the carrier.
Hopefully, we will learn about the exact availability and pricing for the Galaxy S II on August 29th as I’m sure many consumers simply cannot wait any longer.
