Samsung’s New York Galaxy S II event gets a days delay courtesy of Hurricane Irene

Coming as a little bit of news that is not all that surprising — the Samsung event that was scheduled to take place in New York City this coming Monday has been officially delayed by Samsung. The event is presumed to be the announcement of the Samsung Galaxy S II handsets for US carriers. That being said, those waiting for the news of the handsets coming available for those in the US will not be waiting all that long. In fact, the event has been pushed back just one day. In other words, instead of taking place on Monday August 29th, the event will take place on Tuesday August 30th. Mark your calendars accordingly.
