It looks like Verizon will soon be launching another 4G LTE capable Android smartphone. And judging by the specs, it looks like this one will be able to compete in the lineup with the others. That being said, Verizon has yet to officially announce anything in terms of pricing or a release date so we are going to have to wait a bit before we get super excited. That aside though, we do have some specs for the Pantech Breakout and those break down as follows;

  • Android 2.3 Gingerbread
  • Pantech UI
  • 4G LTE network support
  • 4 inch (800 x 480) touchscreen display
  • 1Ghz processor
  • 512MB RAM
  • 390MB internal storage
  • microSD card slot
  • Will ship with an 8GB microSD card
  • VGA quality front facing camera
  • 5 megapixel rear facing camera

In addition, the Breakout will ship with the Swype virtual keyboard, have support for Adobe Flash and Mobile Hotspot connectivity (at an extra charge) with support for up to 10 devices on 4G LTE and up to 5 devices on 3G.
