Just days after the official name for Sony’s 9.4-inch Tablet S was revealed, more details about the companies second tablet have emerged. What was once known as the S2 will be known as the Sony Tablet P. A release window of September is still in the cards for this device.
As for specs, the Tablet P has two 5.5-inch screens with a clamshell design. It will run Honeycomb just like the Tablet S in addition to carrying a NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor. The Tablet P also has 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage with a 2GB card included for extra space.
The Tablet P will also be available on AT&T’s 4G network. AT&T is the exclusive mobile broadband provider for the Tablet P.
As usual, this isn’t an official announcement, so we don’t know what the price for the Tablet P will be. Let’s hope for something under $500.
