Samsung Series 5 Chromebooks getting a two-week back-to-school price cut

It looks like the Samsung Series 5 Chromebooks have been given a temporary price drop. The lower prices come by way of Amazon and are reported to be as part of a two-week back to school promotion. What that means for the interested end-user — a savings of $30 on the Wi-Fi equipped model and a savings of $50 on the 3G equipped model.

According to the listing on the Amazon website, the offer includes the Samsung Series 5 Chromebook in both Arctic White and Titan Silver and means in the end you will be paying $399.99 for the Wi-Fi model and $449.99 for the 3G model — a savings of 7 percent and 10 percent respectively.
