Google has rolled out another update in terms of their Google Voice app for Android. The latest update brings the version up to 0.4.2.34 and the app comes in at a 2.01MB download and requires Android 1.6 or later for use. In terms of the new features, here is what you can expect to see;
- Does not require data connectivity for making calls to all numbers you previously called
- Warns you when no data connectivity before you compose/send text messages
- Fix for big that required to click the voicemail play button twice
- Fix for notification delays for SMS and voicemails
Also worth noting, as with any update to Google Voice on Android — “You must open Google Voice at least once after upgrading to route calls.”
